I find that I am often looking at more art from artists who are alive than from the old masters. Some of my favorite artists still with us are Steve Mitchell, Marty Owings, Daniel Potvin, Lisa Clough, Peter Sheeler, Peter Deligdisch, Mark Crilley, Minnie Small, Alphonso Dunn, Jared Cullum, Lizzie Harper, James Gurney, and too many more to mention. Who are some of yours? Feel free to leave links to their youtube or instagram accounts.

I love David Hockney. And I did love Lucien Freud but forget about him, he’s dead. An artist named Takashi Murakami. My favorite watercolor artist is Charles Burchfield. Sorry guys, he’s dead but he painted a kind of visionary realism of, of all places, Buffalo, NY.
Gonna look up all the artists mentioned!
I follow Mark Crilley, Alphonso Dunn, Jake Spicer, Jazza, PeterDraws, yourself, plus various other through Instagram.
I had fun looking up all these wonderful artists. I was only familiar with two of them- Peter Deligdisch and Lisa Clough who I also like very much. I especially enjoyed James Gurney - Wow !! A few of the artists that I enjoy are Atsuko Goto, Evgeniya Golik, Alfred Phillips, Sarah Whitmire, Kana Handel and Alberto Ortega. The list could be much longer.
